Jakarta Street Kids Make Dreams Come True with Entrepreneurship Program
A Jakarta-based non-governmental organization Sahabat Anak, has a project underway to help about 500 marginalized children realize their potential through entrepreneurship. Called KADO (Karya Anak Indonesia – the work of Indonesian children), the project was launched in February.
Selection and training of 250 adult volunteers to help with this project was finalized by April 21. And now, project KADO is in the implementation phase. The volunteers — along with the marginalized children — selected for this project, met for the first time on the last weekend in April.
