Divisi Kesehatan

Sahabat Anak Health Division

Everyone needs to be able to access health insurance, including marginalised children. The Sahabat Anak health team aims to help children access basic health care.  The health team provides a free health care service by taking a roadshow to each tutorial area and measuring the children’s height and weight, giving worm medication, vitamins, and free check-ups by doctors.

Advocacy Division

The objective of the Advocacy Division is to increase the awareness of Child Protection Laws in Indonesia. The Advocacy Division is responsible for:

  • increasing the volunteers, children and parents understanding of the Indonesian laws which concern children, specifically Child Protection Laws
  • creating a greater public awareness on the issues that are facing children in Indonesia and
  • assisting our children who run into trouble with authorities.

Due to limited human resources the current main focus of the Advocacy Division is to increase the volunteers understanding about Child Protection Laws in Indonesia and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Hopefully, in the near future we can conduct a number of programs will educate the parents of the children in Children’s Rights and Child Protection Laws. We are more than happy to welcome any volunteers who are interested in helping with this project.
